I’m not really deep into automation, but I’ve seen friends swap out older mechanical systems simply because the upkeep was driving them crazy. It’s pretty wild how much smoother things run when there aren’t a ton of moving parts to constantly service. Even just watching their setups evolve over time makes it clear how much downtime disappears once they stop relying on equipment that needs constant pressure checks or fluid monitoring.
