Oh, my best friend and I sometimes play de_dust2 together, too. It brings back childhood memories. And yes, it’s really hard to find a decent game these days because everywhere you look, they’re shoving distorted models and terrible music down your throat. I personally downloaded the Counter-Strike 1.6 client here. It’s a clean, classic build based on Steam. And I liked that everything is set up for stable FPS, and anti-cheat protection is built in. Btw, are you planning to play with your own group on a private server or on a busy public server with custom maps? If you’re playing on public servers, you should check the anti-auto-connect protection right away.
