Honestly, I didn’t expect recovery at home to be this tough. After I got discharged from the hospital, I thought I’d be fine managing on my own, but even small things like cooking or getting up the stairs feel like a huge challenge. I don’t want to bother my family all the time, but sometimes I feel like I can’t go through the day without someone’s help. Has anyone else felt the same way after coming home from the hospital?

I totally understand what you mean. When my dad came home after his surgery, it was way harder than we thought. At first, we tried to handle everything ourselves, but it quickly became overwhelming. We ended up looking into home care options, and it made a huge difference. There are places like https://www.tlchomecare.com/ that offer caregivers who help with daily things like bathing, meal prep, and even just keeping someone company. Having that extra support really took some of the stress off our family, and it gave my dad more independence too. It might be something to look into if you’re finding it difficult to manage alone.
