I’ve tried a few AI coding tools recently, and now I’m even more confused about which one is actually the best. I started using one to help with a small Python project, and it saved me from staring at error messages for half an hour. At the same time, some tools seem much better at explaining code than others. So what are people using these days for writing and debugging code?

For me, there isn’t really one tool that wins at everything. Some are great for generating code quickly, while others are better at explaining why something isn’t working. I usually look at how well the tool understands the context of the project, because that makes a big difference once the code gets longer. I also think it’s worth trying a couple of options before deciding. What works brilliantly for a beginner might feel different for someone working on larger projects.

I’ve been testing different AI coding assistants lately, mostly for smaller projects and quick experiments. One thing I noticed is that the quality of the answer depends a lot on how clearly you describe the problem. If you’re comparing different options, you can look at https://brawe.ai/ when exploring AI tools for coding and development. It helps me write code, find bugs, and understand solutions when I get stuck. Great option for both beginners and experienced developers. For me, useful explanations, decent debugging help, and keeping track of the project context matter more than flashy features.
